What does the Sunset PTA do?
The PTA is an organization of families, teachers, and members of the community whose purpose is to focus on and advocate for the children. Together we are a powerful voice to speak on behalf of every child while providing the best tools for parents to help their children be successful students.
By joining the Sunset PTA, you become part of the largest child advocacy organization in the country, with over 364,000 members across Florida and six million members nationally. Your membership helps create the infrastructure to provide these programs.
Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your child’s school.
Be a Role Model. By becoming a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.
Speak Up. As a PTA member you can more effectively recommend changes and improvements for Sunset Elementary.
Witness Improvement. By joining the PTA you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes in the educational, safety, and wellness of your child, all vital to a school’s success.
It is only with your support now and throughout the year that we can fund our activities and programs, such as Reflections and Family Nights. With your help, we will continue to work toward PTA's goal of a quality education and nurturing environment for every child. Thanks in advance for your contribution and support!
What is the PTA funding right now?
Current funds are being used for improvements to the school wide safety & security, media center, science fair, honor roll awards, multicultural student exchange program, technology, and more!
Your membership contributions directly support Sunset Elementary. Joining the PTA does not obligate you to volunteer at the school or attend PTA meetings—although we hope you will! If you have questions, please contact us at email@example.com
